November: Lung Cancer Awareness Month

November is Lung Cancer Awareness Month. This event offers an opportunity for the public health community to raise awareness of the risk factors associated with lung cancer, ways to prevent disease, and to highlight measures that may be introduced or enhanced through EU policies to reduce the disease burden.

ERS is supporting this awareness event throughout the month and we are pleased to share some resources with you that you may want to share on your website or social media channels in support of this event.

Attached is a communications toolkit containing key messaging, factsheets for the healthcare community and policymakers, social media infographics, ELF patient and public materials, and links to the new ERS short film ‘Lung cancer screening: cutting costs, saving lives’.
