Inhalační forma léčby patří bezesporu k terapii mnoha plicních onemocnění, a to z důvodu zajištění vyšších koncentrací léčivé látky lokálně přímo v plicích, čímž je dosaženo maximálního možného efektu spolu s nízkým rizikem výskytu nežádoucích účinků. Výše zmíněné výhody inhalační cesty podání lze ovšem očekávat pouze za předpokladu správné inhalační techniky.
Na českém trhu je v dnešní době velmi mnoho typů (minimálně 15) inhalačních systémů,

Inhaled medications are the mainstay of pharmacotherapy of many respiratory diseases, because they provide higher concentration of drug locally in the lungs. This achieves the maximum possible curative effect together with a low risk of side effects. However, these benefits of the inhalation route of administration can be expected if the correct inhalation technique is followed. Nowadays there are many types of inhalation systems on the market, which require different handling when using them and the most of them require entirely different style of drug inhalation. However, only correct use of inhaled medications will allow the drug to reach the site of action in the lungs and thus treat the disease.
For this reason, this educational material was created, which describes the suitable inhalation technique through animated videos using five easy to remember steps.
